My Family The Casey family is a very unusual one. Whereas a typical family may sit around the dinner table and discuss how their days went, or a popular TV show, my family is more likely to discuss politics or the Iranian hostage crisis.  Last Thanksgiving, we went to Universal studios! You can see my brother Austin (14) and sister Shara (12) here. Some highlights of the trip: -sending back food at Emeril's because it wasn't up to our standards -watching The Walking Dead together in our hotel room -ME MEETING CAPTAIN AMERICA  Ah yes, here we are carrying on a great family tradition: destroying the Christmas gingerbread house. P.S. my dad (on the end) is a Harding alumnus!  Here we are along with my mother's parents and brother on Sunday morning last Christmas. My grandparents are former ACU employees (and believe me, they were pushing for Abilene instead of Searcy!). |
Franklin My hometown is off the chain (meaning it's pretty cool). I have been very blessed to grow up here, and never had the desire to live anywhere else.  Downtown Franklin has been the setting of many unusual events for me, Live music, scavenger hunts, and a Justin Bieber sighting have all occurred here.  Grimey's, a Nashville record store, is one of my favorite local shops. Music is my biggest hobby...I go to Grimey's almost once a week. My friends call me a hipster for going to a record store, but hey, what's wrong with being a hipster?  My friends and I went to local haunted woods at Halloween a few years ago. Such a fun yet traumatizing night! |
